It was a great pleasure to be in the company of Outlier on Sunday for an evening of top quality musicianship. Owen, Tom and Neil were engaging, inventive and entertaining, presenting a well designed programme of jazz standards (St Thomas, All Blues), original compositions and some less-expected arrangements (Wichita Lineman, Pure Imagination) all with their inspired Outlier twist. We had an attentive and appreciative audience who no doubt are all looking forward to the next chance they get to see Outlier perform. A really great performance for the third event of our Gregson Gig Series. Details of the next Lancaster Jazz Scene gig coming soon...
