At the jam we have a selection of tunes/standards to play and there is music available for C, Bb, Eb and Bass. You can choose which tunes you wish to play on and sign up to be part of the band when those tunes are called. The emphasis is on having fun, supporting each other and enjoying the music. Paul Palmer Quartet post-gig post

On Sunday The Gregson Gig Series had a great start with the Paul Palmer Quartet who treated us to an entertaining combination of standards with some lesser-known pieces and original work. Paul’s tenor sax and Jon Moreman’s trombone sounded particularly stylish in the Olive Bar, complemented by Richard Page’s guitar work and expertly held together by Steve Simpson on double bass. A satisfying way for a jazz fan to spend a warm evening in Lancaster.

Thank you to the attentive audience who came to support and enjoy our first event, we very much hope to see you again. We will be announcing our next act soon!
